Sri Guru Ravidass Bhawan & Community Centre, Bedford (SGRBcc) is an approved venue for civil marriage and Anand Karaj ceremonies.

• Bookings are taken up to 12 months in advance
• You can have a civil ceremony on any day of the week except Christmas day, Boxing day and New Year’s day.

GIVING NOTICE OF MARRIAGE

Notice of marriage is a legal preliminary requirement which must be completed before any form of ceremony can take place.

If you wish to marry in a civil ceremony it is a legal requirement that you enter notice of your intention.

This must be carried out no more than 12 months but at least 28 clear days before the ceremony can take place.

In certain circumstances this can be 70 clear days.

All required documents must be presented to the superintendent registrar at where you each live, via appointment to obtain your Marriage Schedule
